Postpartum Night Infant Care

Overnight care includes all infant care, and maternal and breastfeeding support. The function of overnight care is for new parents to feel confident that their baby is in competent hands so that they can get a substantial stretch of sleep. We provide you with non-medical support, non judgemental and nurturing support and education during the nights throughout the beginning of your first weeks and months getting to know your newborn(s).

I will be there to provide your newborn(s) with the necessary care through the night as you "find your feet" again, physically recover and prepare for implementing a routine with your newborn(s).

Overnight care is particularly helpful when the mother has had a cesarean section, a difficult pregnancy or birth experience, maternal physical or mental health concerns, maternal or infant sleep challenges, newborn adoption, one parent is absent, or when one or both parents are returning to work. However every new parent can benefit from Postpartum Doula Services.
A night shift usually runs from 10/11pm - 6/7am but can be altered to fit your specific needs, (this is just a guideline).

I do however require a 5 hour minimum.

I also provide Postpartum Doula day        services.
